Dr. Christine Zeifert
Dr. Christine (Martinson) Zeifert is a NBEO board certified optometrist who graduated cum laude from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2010, and is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa and Tomb & Key Honor societies. She received her bachelor of arts in biology from Augustana College in 2006. She is a member of the Illinois Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, College of Optometrists in Visual Development, and is also a provider for the InfantSEE program. InfantSEE is a program that provides a comprehensive eye exam to any child up to one year of age at no cost, in order to promote eye heath and ensure proper eye development. She is also a member of VOSH Illinois, volunteer optometric service to humanity, which provides eye care to people locally and worldwide.
She is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to her patients, and truly enjoys her profession. Her hobbies include running, basketball, and cooking.
Dr. Zeifert is from the northern suburbs of Chicago, and currently lives in the area with her husband and four children

Dr. Hillary Schweihs
Dr. Hillary Schweihs completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky earning a bachelor's of science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics.
She received her Doctorate of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry in 2013, and completed a one year intensive residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease.
She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She has a special interest in dry eyes and clinical research. She is excited to bring her skills and expertise to the patients at Zeifert Eye Care.
Dr. Brian Dembo
Dr Dembo is a graduate from the T. W. School of Optometry in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1981.After working in private practice in South Africa, Dr Dembo returned to school at the Illinois College of Optometry graduating cum laude in 1986. After graduation he completed a residency in primary care optometry.
Dr Dembo has been in private practice in the Chicago suburbs since 1987. His focus is primary care optometry including specialized contact lenses, pre and post-op co-management of cataract and Lasik surgery and the treatment of dry eye disease.
He is married and has 2 sons, a daughter-in-law and a granddaughter.
When he’s not spending time with family, he enjoys working out and believes fitness is a way of life.
Dr. Albert Licup, FAAO
Dr. Albert (Al) Licup is a 2006 graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry. He received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Saint Mary and completed a Bachelor of Science in Education and Social Policy degree at Northwestern University.
He is a member of the Armed Forces Optometric Society and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Licup has experience working in different modalities of optometric practice including hospital, military and private practice settings.
He is committed to providing comprehensive eye care services to patients of Zeifert Eye Care.
Stefania, Office Manager
Stefania, with her Italian roots, brings a flair for fashion and passion for shopping to her meticulous work at Zeifert Eye Care.
She loves the work she does each day because she says she works for the best doctors. She loves helping them and patients to provide the best eye care possible. Stefania says being in the optical field is very rewarding, especially when you work with a great team. She takes her leadership role seriously and always does her best to succeed. Stefania also loves being part of a team that’s so dedicated to meeting and exceeding goals, especially when it comes to patient care.
Stefania says traveling and spending time with family make her the happiest. She’s also happily married with two sweet children, and they’re her world. She also has a German Shepherd dog “Tucker” who gets a lot of her time and love.
